Dimapur, Sep 6 (EMN): NSCN(K) has rubbished the purported statement of the Assam Rifles in which the latter claimed to have killed one Naga Army, inflicted injuries to others and recovery of weapon, ammunition and other materials after clash at Vontu village in Arunachal Pradesh.
NSCN K statement issued by MIP today said the claim was but a mere fantasy story generated by a frustrated commander of AR posted in the area to cover up his armed misadventure that caused unnecessary tension and harassment to the local populace.
It, however, admitted that the skirmish was true as the Naga Army encountered the column of Assam Rifle’s returning from the stage managed attack which was enacted at Vontu village the same day.
