NSCN (IM) mourns demises

Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of ‘2nd Lieutenant’ Subenthung Kikon, son of Tsamo Kikon of Wokha village (Kyong region) of the General Field Training Head Quarters (GFTHQ), Naga Army, on Nov. 4 at Wokha. He was enrolled for the national service on August 29 2012.
The NSCN (IM) also mourned the untimely demise of Lydia Gangmei (Tatar status) wife of ZD Bon, executive member, steering committee) from Zeilad, Zeliangrong region on Nov. 12 at Imphal. The MIP Hebron said she was enrolled as a member of National Socialist Women’s Organization of Nagalim (NSWON) on Feb. 7 2007. She served as the vice-chairperson of Zeliangrong region of the NSWON from 2008-2009 and a central executive member of the NSWON from 2010-2011, and was then elevated to tatar status in July 2017.
In a condolence note, the MIP said they were down to earth and remained dedicated to the national service until their demise. Their contribution for the national cause shall ever be cherished, the message added.
The NSCN (IM) extended its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the near and dear ones of the departed national workers and prayed for their souls to rest in eternal peace.
