Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has strongly condemned the blast in Chandel district on November 13, which claimed two lives of Assam Rifles personnel and injuring six others. It stated that the political nature of attacking Indian armed forces at a populated Naga area was nothing but a challenge to the Naga people’s movement and her national identity.
The NSCN (IM) through its MIP stated that the sinister design and devilish act of attacking the Indian armed forces at the heart of the district headquarter was nothing but an attack on the peaceful atmosphere of coexistence of different communities and instigating another arm conflict between the Naga and Indian forces, which otherwise is on the verge of finding an amicable solution to the more than 60 year old Indo-Naga conflict.
As per report received from K Besui, Caretaker CAO of Khurmi Region, it stated that people are living harmoniously despite its complexity regardless of religion, caste and tribe for years.
The Khurmi Region, GPRN, has conveyed condolence to the bereaved families of the deceased personnel and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured personnel.
