Dimapur, March 13 (EMN): The Khonsa Battalion of under DAO Division while carrying out an operation in Nginu village of Longding district in south Arunachal Pradesh on March 12 apprehended a self styled Corporal Wangphe Wangsa of the NSCN (IM) group who was terrorising people to extort money from Nginu village. The cadre was nabbed with a 9mm pistol and ammunitions. The individual was an active member of the NSCN (IM) group and was involved in numerous crimes like sending demand letters, kidnapping and extortion activities in the area.
