NSCN (IM) appreciates organisations supports

Dimapur, Dec. 18 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has acknowledged with gratitude to various students and tribal organisations for the support extended towards the organisation during the demise of its vice president Gen. (retired) Khole Konyak on December 12 in New Delhi.
It has thanked Naga Students’ Union Delhi, Eastern Naga Students’ Union Delhi and Nagas in Delhi for organising a condolence programme on December 13 at Nagaland House, New Delhi.
It also thanked the Naga Hoho and Naga Council Dimapur for organising a public reception programme on December 14 at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Dimapur. Besides, it also thanked the Angami Public Organisation (Kohima), Rengma Hoho (Tseminyu), Lotha Hoho (Wokha), Ao Senden (Mokokchung), Konyak Union of Mon & Tobu for the warm reception and hospitality accorded to the entourage during his final journey to his native village.

It also thanked all the Naga Political Groups (NPGs), Government of India, leaders of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, political parties, Nagaland government & police, revolutionary fraternity from the North East region, all the Naga and non-Naga civil society organisations/ unions, students’ unions/ associations, indigenous organisations, church leaders, volunteers, media fraternity and well-wishers.

It further tanked all those who escorted the mortal remains to the CHQ Hebron from Dimapur.
The mortal remains of Khole Konyak was laid to rest at Wangshu village, about 8 kilometers from Tobu with full honour.
