Dimapur, Dec. 11: The government primary and middle school at Ao khel of Notun Bosti in Dimapur celebrated its golden jubilee on December 11.
The district education officer (DEO) of Dimapur, R Amongla Jamir was the special guest of the event. She spoke about how satisfied and pleased she was for the students to have devoted teachers. When teachers, students and parents or guardians work together, anything can be achieved, she said. She encouraged the teachers to strive hard in all aspects and to give their best to their work.
Jamir also observed that the school was one among the best middle schools in that it had a “sturdy infrastructure” and good teaching faculty. She highlighted the addition of high school and higher secondary sections to the school in the name of jubilee celebrations in the near future.
The chairman of the school management committee, T Maong Longchar, and the chairman of Ao Khel Council of Notun Basti, I Menang, also spoke during the event.
