North Block Warrior and Lower Bayavii Giants enter semis

Kohima, Nov. 5 (EMN): North Block Warriors and Lower Bayavii Giants won their respective matches and entered the semifinals of the ongoing 5th edition of 10-Northern Angami-I T20 Bash organised by Brotherhood Group at Kohima village ground, Ziekezou on Tuesday.
North Block Warriors beat T. Khel Knights in the first match by 23 runs to enter semis.
In the match, Warriors elected to bat first and set up a target of 155/6 in 20 overs. Renjanthung (48) and Sobin (24) was the highest scorer for Warriors, while Nagaho claimed a wicket for Knights.
In reply, Knights were short of 23 runs as they scored only 132 runs losing nine wickets in 20 overs. Imli (49) and Viketho (23) contributed the highest runs for Knights, while Kevihezo took three wickets in four overs. Renjanthung was awarded the man of the match for his 48 runs.
In the second match, Lower Bayavu Giants beat Keyake Phezoucha Pirates by 60 runs.
Giants electing to bat first scored 165 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs. Imomenba (46) and Tapitu (25) contributed the highest runs for Giants, while Kisan claimed two wickets in four overs.
Pirates were bowled out for 101 runs in 19.3 overs as the bowlers restricted the runs to win the match for Giants. Teisovizo took three wickets in four overs and Tapitu claimed two wickets in four overs for Giants.
Teisovizo of Lower Bayavii Giants with three wickets and 13 runs was adjudged as the man of the match.
With the win, Lower Bayavii Giants set up the semifinal clash against North Block Warriors on Nov. 7.
