Dimapur, August 14 (EMN): The NNC/FGN headed by Brig (Retd) S. Singnya Kedahge and Kedallo, Zhopra Vero, celebrated the 71st Naga Independence Day on August 14 at Dimapur.
Naga National Flag was hoisted by general (Retd) Thinoselie. M. Keyho, president of NNC while Independence Day speech was delivered by Zhopra Vero Kedallo, on behalf of Brigader (Retd) S. Singnya Kedahge.
Short speech on political development was delivered by president of NNC, general (Retd) Thinoselie and Lieutenant general T. M. Rakho, C-in-C, Naga Army FGN.
The function was chaired by speaker of Tatar Hoho FGN, Rukulhu Phuswuo while invocation prayer by pronounced by Rev. Puduhu Khuso and vote of thanks was proposed by Hekhuvi Achumi, Lota Kilonser of FGN. The programme concluded with a mass prayer.
