Dimapur, Nov. 20 (EMN): The employees of National Health Mission (NHM) have called-off the total cessation of work with effect from November 21 following assurance from the Mission Director to clear the pending salaries within 10 days.
The employees have expressed gratitude the chief minister, medical minister, and the officials concerned for understanding the problems and expediting the release of NHM funds. The employees have also requested the government to further release the remaining fund for all the vertical programmes on or before November 30.
The employees have urged the government to transfer the fund within 15 days after the allocation of the same from the Government of India.
Meanwhile, the employees have extended gratitude to the public for bearing with inconveniences during its agitation.
