Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): A group of individuals calling themselves the ‘Commissioned to the World of Work Network’ (CWWN), and another called “Power Comm,” said to have conducted a programme named the ‘Converge,’ on March 22. The group issued a press release on Monday offering updates about the event.
The press release read: “Converge is a way of responding to the brokenness of our culture. True to its vision of CWWN, the talk confronted the hard hitting reality inflicting our society today in all its brutality.
The event encouraged the participants to search within themselves of where they stood at the present moment, navigating life and of balancing morality, ethics through a God-centric or a human centric view.”
According to the group, “being quiet and maintaining the status-quo is comfortable,” but when “we question ourselves and the guardians of our institutions about the harsh reality confronting our society today, it makes one uncomfortable and squeamish.”
