NFW Delhi refutes any link with its namesake NFW Dimapur

The Nagaland Fashion Week (NFW) New Delhi- a future event which will be organised by Delhi Fashion Club has denounced the ongoing ‘Nagaland Fashion Week’ Dimapur which is being organised by Nagaland Designers Association (NDA) for classifying the show under its namesake.
In a press note issued by the NFW team New Delhi, the team maintained that the Delhi version of NFW is not a designer contest like the one being organised in Dimapur, but a mass movement to impact overall economy and growth of youth of Nagaland.“Kindly being a responsible citizen of Nagaland and India, do not play with the name of the event which represents the complete state and supported by government of India” (sic) stated the press note.
The press note from the NFW Delhi team states: “the promotion of the ongoing event in Nagaland may cause major problem in confusing the public of Nagaland”. EMN
