CM to attend state level conference of VDBs and VCs
Chief Minster Neiphiu Rio will be attending the state level conference of the VDBs and village councils as speaker on April 24 at 10 am at the NBCC Convention Center in Kohima. The conference is being coincided with ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan.’ Advisor Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire will deliver keynote address while LhoubeilatuoKire, IFS, principle secretary to Government of Nagaland, department of Rural Development will preside over the meeting.
Wokha SDO informs vehicles owners
SDO (C), T. LanusenlaLongkumer has notified to all concerned that all the owners whose vehicles have been seized during the eviction drive carried out on 17th April 2018 to claim their vehicles within 30 (thirty) days from the date of issue of this notice. Failing which the vehicles will be auctioned off without further notice.

S3 Waas website committee for Wokha instated
A committee to oversee implementation of on boarding of district website Secure, Scalable and Sugamya Website as a Service also known as S3 Waas, a district website committee for Wokha has been instated with deputy commissioner Wokha as chairman and district information officer (Secretary), superintendent of police, SDO (C) Wokha, project director DRDA, DEO (education), chief medical officer, district welfare officer, DPRO, district statistical officer and tourism officer as members.
BBBP committee for Wokha constituted
Deputy Commissioner Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon has informed that in pursuance to the direction of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, a task force under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) for Wokha district has been constituted. The team will be led by deputy commissioner as chairman and superintended of police, chief medical officer, district education officer, PD, DRDA, district economics & statistical officer, district welfare officer, president of Lotha Eloe Hoho, representatives of Wokha District Legal Service Authority, district child protection officer, DPRO, and DPO ICDS as members.
ANHTU convenes general meeting
The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) has convened a general meeting on April 27 at 11 am at Ura Academy Hall in Kohima for silver jubilee programme. Unit presidents, secretaries and silver jubilee committee members have been requested to attend the meeting positively. Jubilee committee convenors are requested to submit their committee proposals.
