Dimapur’s DC informs parade contingents
The deputy commissioner of Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel has informed parade contingents in Dimapur district that there would be parade rehearsals for the Republic Day celebrations at the DDSC stadium from Jan. 20 at 7 a.m.
ZRSU to celebrate golden jubilee
The Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) will be celebrating its golden jubilee from Jan. 23-25 at Asukhomi village, under the theme “Era of enlightenment.” The organising committee and planning board have invited all area people to be a part of the celebration.
ACYA to conduct 31st convention
The Angami Catholic Youth Association (ACYA) will be holding its 31st convention from Jan. 19-21 at Mary Help of Christians, cathedral in Kohima, under the theme “celebrating faith, celebrating culture.” Bishop of Kohima Dr. James Thoppil; Vicar General, Kohima Diocese Fr.Neisalhou Carlus; Rovilatuo Nicholas Mor; and Richard Belho will be the speakers for the event.
NPF Dmr. division calls emergency meet
The Dimapur division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has convened an emergency meeting on Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at its office in Dimapur. All office bearers, frontal presidents and general secretaries including presidents and general secretaries of five assembly constituencies have been requested to attend the meeting.
Churches colony calls for meeting
Churches colony chairman Hukato Chishi has informed all the permanent members (land owners/house owners) that a general meeting on Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Puloto Achumi’s residence, H/N-9. The meeting has been convened to deliberate on dissolving of the present executive council, chairman and secretary and election of the new executive council. All the permanent members or their authorised representatives have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

The Lazami Social Welfare Organisation Kohima (LSWOK) has convened a meeting on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at Dr. Simon Swu’s resident, Para Medical, Kohima. The organization president has informed all the office bearers, advisors, action, committee and LSWOK fellowship committee members have been informed to attend the meeting.
