Dec. 16 and 20th declared as transaction day

The Finance dept. has notified all concerned that the following non-transaction days, Dec. 16 and 20th has been declared as transaction days both in the Treasuries and banks in the state.

GPRN/NSCN warns against donations

The GPRN/NSCN Home Affairs through its MIP has warned its functionaries to restraint from collecting donations and any kind of contributions. It also informed general public and business establishments not to entertain any individual, accept those assigned by Finance Ministry to deal with legitimate taxation. The MIP also cautioned functionaries failing to comply with the notice shall be dealt with strict action as per the azha.

Govt. appoints assistants to DC Dimapur

The state government has appointed the following officers as the assistant to the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. The appointed officers are Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Sadar, Kuhuboto, Dhansiripar and Nuiland; revenue officer; Extra Assistant Commissioner (Hq), Chumukedima, Medziphema, Nuiland, Nihokhu and Aqhunaga; and political assistant to Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur and Nuiland.

Finance dept. Budget and Monitoring Cell meet

The Finance dept. Budget and Monitoring Cell meeting has been convened on Dec. 20, 11 a.m. at the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts conference hall, with regard to the implementation of 7th ROP. All Heads of departments and accounts officers are requested to attend the meeting.

UD joint director assigned additional charge

The state govt. has assigned Government of Nagaland has allowed A joint director of Urban Development, Zanbemo Ngullie to take current charge of director, Urban Development w.e.f. Dec. 1 till further order.

DC Mkg. informs arms license holders

Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung has informed all arms license holders who did not furnish their details for the uploading of National Database of Arms License (NDAL) are requested to furnished their arms license booklets and get their arms UIN from the Deputy Commissioner office, Mokokchung from the date of the notice publication till Mar. 31 2018. Failure to obtain the UIN license will be treated as invalid. Those license holders who have already got UIN number need not apply.

DC Phek notifies on EVMS and VVPATS

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Phek, Shanavas C has notified that the first level checking of EVMs & WPATs to be used for the forthcoming Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections will be held from Dec. 20 to 23rd. Representatives of political parties have been requested to attend the aforementioned process on from Dec. 20 to 23rd from 9 a.m. onwards each day at Dc office, Phek.
