New Market Youth Organisation celebrates 45th Foundation Day

Kohima, Dec. 10 (EMN): The New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO) celebrated its 45th Foundation Day under the theme, “Gentle in manner, faithful in deeds with one mind” at new market panchayat hall on Monday.
MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro, the special invitee of the event, lauded the positive contribution of the association to the society. As one of the oldest youth organisations in the district, he asked the members to be an exemplary figure for other such organisations in the district and the state as well.
Delving on the topic of youth empowerment and ways to tackle unemployment, the MLA asked the youths not to procrastinate after completing their studies but make use of their talents by working and earning. He maintained that they (students) can learn a new trade and not pinch their parents for money as well.

He also encouraged the youths to take up various skill development training programmes hosted by the government and other agencies and arm themselves for alternate vocations which will be beneficial for them in the future as well as earn a livelihood.
