The Nagaland State BJP unit and State BJYM team heartily welcomed the new State in-charge (Prabhari) Farooq Khan, who arrived in Dimapur on Wednesday. He will participate in the State level two-day training programme scheduled on August 27 and 28 at Dimapur party head office.
“The party is of the view that under the new leadership of Shri Farooq Khan the party will be strengthened at all levels in the State,” the BJP Nagaland said in a press note. Besides Nagaland State BJP, he is also in-charge of BJP minority at the national level.
Farooq Khan is a former IPS officer in the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Jammu and Kashmir. He is the President’s Medal awardee for gallantry, bravery and distinguished service, the statement said.
All concern party members are requested to participate in the said training programme and for further clarification, one can contact the office secretary Lachit, the statement added.
