NDPP leaves door open after ECI recognition

Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): Following the recognition accorded by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has announced that the party welcomes “all sections of the people who desire to positively impact our society for a better and more rewarding future”.
A statement from the party on Saturday stated that it stands for true justice and fight for emergence of truth. “The party will always listen to the voice of the people and our policies and actions will be guided by the aspirations of the masses”.
It stated that the party will work for creation of opportunities for the youth, realization of gender equality and prevalence of meritocracy in the state.” The NDPP assures that it supports early resolution of the ongoing Indo-Naga political negotiations in an honourable manner that is inclusive and acceptable to the people. We appeal to the negotiating parties to expedite the peace talks and bring about an early solution that will pave the way for lasting peace and all-round development.
“The NDPP assures the people that the party will work with full commitment to root out corruption and nepotism and leave no stone unturned to usher in transparency, good governance, restoration of the system and genuine development,” the statement read.
It also informed that the party will soon release a “detailed roadmap of consultative meetings, party launching programmes at the different regions, conduct of general convention, release of party manifesto and vision documents, etc.”
