Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) together with Patkai Christian College (PCC) – Margaret Shishak School of Music (MSSM) Dimapur is organising a concert “Songs of Love” on April 22 from 4:30 pm at N.N Nagi School Auditorium, Kuda A Village, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur with Free entry.
PCC, the first college to offer music as a subject in Nagaland and NCM the first music college in Nagaland, both pioneer colleges to introduce music in Nagaland decided to organise a concert for one common love- the love for music.
The “Songs of Love” Concert will be featuring students and faculty of NCM and Patkai Christian College – MSSM with 18 to 20 songs of Opera Aria, Art song and Broadway music.
The brainchild of “Songs of Love” concert Noel De La Rosa, Director of Studies and Piano Faculty NCM aims to provide students an avenue for performance while promoting western music here in Nagaland. The collaborating artists for the anticipated concert are Rebekah Moore and Noel De La Rosa.
