NCC director advises cadets to take pride in their uniform

Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): The director general of National Cadet Corps (NCC), PP Malhotra, has appreciated the excellent performance put in by the officers and cadets.

The director general stated this during an interaction with the NCC cadets from various schools and colleges upon his arrival in Kohima on May 24.

The organisation press statement stated that the visiting officer had appreciated on the excellent performance of NCC in Nagaland and commended the hard work put in by officers and cadets. It stated that Malhotra had impressed upon the cadets on the importance of self discipline and also to take pride in their uniforms.

Later, Malhotra paid a visit to Nagaland Girls Battalion NCC and 24 (I) NCC company in Kohima, wherein he was briefed by the commanding officers of each unit about NCC enrolment progress and other NCC activities.

The director also visited NCC group headquarters in Kohima, where he was briefed by the group Commander Brigadier SS Dhankhar on various issues functioning of NCC in Nagaland and also updated about the latest achievements of NCC Kohima group and its units.
