NCC commander visits Sainik School Punglwa

Dimapur, Jan. 15 (EMN): National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Commander,
Kohima, Brig. Surender Singh made a maiden visit to Sainik School Punglwa on January 15.
The officer was accorded Guard of Honour on his arrival by the senior division NCC cadets of the school and was received by Group Captain Sharad R Keskar, principal of Sainik School Punglwa. He was briefed about the NCC and its functionaries in the school by the officer commanding, Squadron Leader Sanjeev Chaudhary.

During his short visit, the commander inspected the NCC office, academic blocks and school campus. He also interacted with the cadets and ANOs and held a motivational talk with all the NCC cadets.

The commander also motivated the cadets to join the armed forces. He said that the Sainik school cadets have the best of the infrastructure and facilities and the same should be exploited to excel in any field. He advised the cadets to have a confident approach as they attempt to join NDA.

The school’s principal, Capt Sharad R Keskar presented a memento to the visiting commander.
