Dimapur, August 22 (EMN): The Nagaland Cricket Association will conduct a three-day selection trial for Under-16 and Under-19 teams from September 3 to 5th, at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur. All the district cricket associations have informed to send at least five players in each group with a forwarding letter.
Players recommended by the district cricket associations have been asked to report at the NCA Stadium, Sovima at 8 am on September 3 with forwarding letters and with their own personal cricket kit. The NCA shall provide “fooding (sic), lodging and return bus fare” for the players who are recommended by the district associations and have the correct documents only, it informed.
The selected probable would undergo an age verification test under an observer appointed by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI). Only those players who pass the bone test for age verification as per the BCCI norms shall be further called for a coaching camp for the selection of the state U-16 and U-19 team for the session, 2017-18.
