Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) has declared the U-16 boys team to participate in the upcoming three-day Vijay Merchant trophy for the season 2018-19.
According to an update received here on Mon. Oct. 15, the team will leave for a two-day trial match at Guwahati on Oct. 16 and then proceed to Mongoldoi for the first match from Oct. 21 till the 23rd. One team from the NE Zone, new states will qualify for the all India knock-out stage.
Nagaland U-16 team: Arjun Kumar Yadav (C), Odilemba Kichu (VC), Yugandhar Singh (WK), Samyak Jain, Yash Tripathi, Savlin Kumar Mallick, Kavito Lemtur, Khrievitso Kense, Rohit Kumar Sah, Ranjen Kumar Yadav, Sanjeev Das, Sujal Prasad, Kivibo Murru.
Guest players: Ezaz Ali Raheman, Aman Yadav, and Jatin Singh

In another update, Nagaland U-19 women’s team lost their second T20 match to Uttrakhand by 51 runs at Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh on Monday.
