National science day district level seminar at GHSS Tuensang

Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): National Science Day district level seminar was held at Government Higher Secondary School, on April 19 under the theme “Science and technology for especially abled person”. Speaking at the programme, Deputy District Education Officer, I. Sashi Ao, said that participation is more important than winning as such one should not be discouraged for not winning the price. Altogether, 11 participants from different schools participated, where Deepika Rai of AkumImlong School Tuensang secured the first position while Thonglem Chongbou of Mt. Carmel School and Kushe Shiu of St. Joseph’s School Tuensang bagged the second and third position respectively.
The panel of judges was Konthunglo Ngullie, VP GHSS Thangjam Tuensang and Keneile- u Suokhrie, PGT GHSS Tuensang.
The programme was chaired by C. Hechila GT GHSS Thangjam. Jungdan PT GHSS Tuensang invoked God’s blessing while vote of thanks was proposed by Chemtongpila.
