Dimapur, Nov. 20 (EMN): N.N. Nagi School recently held its first ever school week from Nov. 14-17. According to an update received here on Tue. Nov. 20, the school together with the rest of the country, also celebrated Children’s Day. The day being a special day for the children of the country, the School organised a field trip to Gilgal Orphanage-cum-School, where the students and faculty members of N.N. Nagi School interacted with the orphans and contributed gifts towards the orphanage.
The first ever school annual sports meet was held Nov. 15 and 16, where the students from preschool to level-4 participated in different events such as long jump, high jump, relay race, and balloon race. The school is committed to sports and in the near future will be providing facilities such as multipurpose indoor hall for badminton, basketball, lawn tennis courts and a FIFA standard size football ground with a 400mtr athletic track surrounding it, added the update.
The school also organised a cultural day on the Nov. 17, where the students showcased their own traditional costumes.
