Dimapur, Nov. 22 (EMN): The Nagaland Tribes Council in a surprise move on Wednesday announced the appointment of a new President of the council.
“It is to inform that Shri Toniho Yepthomi, has taken over as the President of the Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC),” stated a press release from the General Secretary Nribemo Ngullie.
It added that hereafter all correspondences be addressed to the new president.
No further details were mentioned regarding the sudden change in the leadership.
Reliable sources although informed that the former president Lendinokdang submitted his resignation on Oct. 12 but the executive body was able to approve it only recently.
