The Nagaland Staff Nurse Association (NSNA) has decided on Monday to call off its ongoing agitation with immediate effect. NSNA president, Catherine said the general body of the association, during an emergency meeting held today, decided to call off their agitation and further resolved to seek legal aid in the event of failure on the part of the government to fulfil their demands. The members will resume duties from July 7 onwards, she informed. Subsequently, a letter was said to have been submitted to the principal director Health & Family Welfare informing the same. Meanwhile, the association in a release, expressed gratitude to NGOs, particularly the NTC, NMA and Naga Council Dimapur, CANSSEA, press/media and NIDA for their support and solidarity shown towards the association during the period of agitation.
