Dimapur, March 13 (EMN): The Nagaland Rifle Association (NRA) in a press note has notified interested shooters for training in 10 metre, 25 metre and 50 metre events starting from March 16, 2017 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Aries Sports Complex Shooting Ranges, Bamunpukhuri-1, Dimapur.
Shooters from the 2nd Japukong Youth Organisation Shooting Competition 2017 and the 2nd Aonokpu Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship 2017 are invited for free training.
The training will be followed by the 8th Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship 2017 from May 25 to 28 and the 3rd Nagaland Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship from June 7 to 10, 2017.
The selected shooters will represent the state at the 5th North East Zone Shooting Championship 2017 at Shillong, Meghalaya tentatively in July 2017.
