A three-day Nagaland Prayer Convention, which began on April 8 on the theme “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God,” concluded this evening at Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC), PR Hill, Kohima.
Speakers of the convention were Rev. Neivotso Neikha, Mission Director NICRC, and Sanyi Nyekha, pastor Chiesezou CRC.
Yangulie Sanchu, pastor of NCRC, PR Hill, informed that the three-day convention was held under the directive of Lord’s programme to pray for the Nagas to have peace, unity and tranquility among the people and to rededicate themselves to serve God. He also said the convention was successful as thousands of people from various churches irrespective of denomination attended the services. He called upon the people to rededicate and serve God with humility and faithfulness.
Preaching the gospel to the congregation, Rev. Neivotso Neikha said prayer is very important tools to open the gate, window and door of heaven for God to pour out his spirit and blessing upon people. He, therefore, encouraged the people to pray to God without ceasing.
During the three-day service, Avibou Mor from Chathe Prayer Christian Centre and Adi Sothu from NCRC, PR Hill, Kohima, chaired the programme. Khezhakeno CRC Youth choir presented special songs.
