L Singsit takes charge of ADG

The Government of Nagaland in a notification informed that L  Singsit, IPS has taken over the charge of Additional Director General (ADG) of Police (Adm) Nagaland, Kohima with effect from March 4. Henceforth, all correspondences relating to confidential and semi-official matters requiring personal attention may contact him at 0370-2242890 (O) or 9436001923.

 

DC Phek informs head of offices

In view of the visit of Nagaland and Arunachal Governor, P.B Acharya and Governor of Tripura, Tathagata Roy, to Ruzazho village on April 25, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek Murohu Chotso has informed all the head of offices of Phek district to be present at Ruzazho village latest by 10:30 a.m. without fail.

 

Aadhaar enrollment in Mkg withheld

SDO (C) Mokokchung has informed that enrollment of Aadhaar for indigenous inhabitants of Mokokchung district scheduled from April 17 has been withheld till further order, due to some technical related problem.

 

Elumyo village restricts hunting

Elumyo Village Council (EVC) has restricted hunting within its jurisdiction from April till September 30. Anybody found violating the village resolution will be fine with a sum of Rs. 5000 and seizure of materials. Use of chemicals like bleaching and lime (Jona) at rivulet, streams will be fined as per the village council resolution number 2 and 7.

 

DDPA executive meeting

Dimapur District Pensioners’ Association has convened an executive meeting on April 28, 11 a.m. at Pensioner’s office, Dimapur. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

 

Dept of F&CS informs village councils

Department of Food & Civil Supplies has informed all the FPS/village councils of Kohima Centre that PHH and AAY food-grains will be release from April 24 between 10:30 to 4 p.m. All the concerned village councils have been directed to collect their respective quota within the stipulated period. The issue schedules are as follows:

Kohima Town FPS on April 24 and 25, Kohima Sadar and Secu circle villages on April 26, Jakha circle villages on April 27, Kezocha circle villages and Tsiese Basa & Bawe, Thizama & Rusoma on April 28.

 

NCD condoles

The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has expressed its profound sorrow over the sudden demise of Late Merenzungla, mother of the Naga Council President, T .Bangerloba. NCD expressed deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family. The council pray for peace and solace at this hour of grief and the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
