Dimapur, Aug. 9 (EMN): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland and minister in charge for Home and National Highways Y Patton along with Advisor Food &Civil Supplies Pukhayi Sumi paid a visit to Nagaland House at Navi Mumbai on Thur. Aug. 9 to deliberate on the progression of the house.

As per a press release from the Dy CM’s media cell, the construction of Nagaland House at Navi Mumbai was completed since 2010 but was non-functional till date due to the delay in obtaining Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) permission from the Navi Mumbai Corporation by the state govt. prior to the commencement of the construction of the construction and the occupancy certificate for the completed project was not issued.

However Patton stated “with the concerted efforts under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, the state government was working hard to sort out the CRZ issue and the house will be made operational very soon”.

“Once the Nagaland House is made functional, it will facilitate the people of the state bridging gap between Mumbai and Nagaland”, stated Patton. He further stated that the government will give preferences and accommodate specially the student community, sick and needy people and businessmen once the house was functional and was optimistic that it will have a tremendous impact and will benefit to the people of Nagaland to a larger extend.
