Dimapur, Jan. 10 (EMN): Nagaland ended with 24 medals at the 4th Northeast Taekwondo championship which concluded on Wednesday at the DSA Karimganj, Assam.
Keneilezo Nagi in U-74 junior boys, Keyinchingonbe Hega in U-55 junior boys, Ziita Shijoh U-65 cadet boys and Nenghoikim in U-63 kgs junior girls won four gold medals for Nagaland.
Nagaland also won five silver and 12 bronze medals, totalling 24 in various categories during the championship.
The championship was organised by Karimganj District Taekwondo Association and played under the aegis of North-East Taekwondo Union (NETU).
A 45 member Nagaland team under the aegis of Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) took part in the championship which concluded on Wednesday.
