Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): Nagaland Chess Association in a press note stated that the 17th Nagaland State Chess Championship 2018 which was supposed to be held from July 2 to 5 has been deferred to July 3 till the 6th due to unavoidable circumstance at the Red Cross Conference Hall Kohima, Nagaland.
The Championship will have three category; open category, U-14 and U-17 years (boys and girls) category. Players of U-14 and U-17 years’ category are requested to produce birth certificate and registered within one year of birth as per All India Chess Federation (AICF) norms and also requested to come with school uniform during the inaugural and closing function.
Interested persons can register with an entry fee of INR 1000 in open category and INR 500 for U-14 and U-17 years’ category at Shri Ganesh Book Centre below Mato Complex opp. SBI Bazar Branch Kohima, Nagaland on or before July 2.
