Nagaland BJP for ‘Integral Humanism’

The Bharatiya Janata Party of Nagaland would like to clarify its stand from the mind of confusion towards BJP Nagaland. It maintained that the party is a secular political party and its basic philosophy of the party is ‘integral humanism”. The party aims at establishing a democratic state which guarantees to all citizens irrespective of caste, creed or sex, political, social and economic justice, equality of opportunity and liberty of faith and expression. It believes in the principle of justice, providing good governance and development for all.

The Nagaland BJP appreciates NBCC for acknowledging the Party resolution to safeguard the Christian faith and protect the interest of the minorities. The BJP Nagaland will continue to uphold the identity of the Christian faith. However, it also respects other religions as the India Constitution provides, protects and guarantees the freedom of religion or faith to every citizen. The BJP Nagaland clarify that the Former Prime Minister Shri. AB Vajpayee one of the tallest leaders in the world was also born on 25th December and the Government of India declared Good governance day on his birthday which coincides with the Christmas celebration Day. However, the Nagaland BJP and the State Government observe good governance day either before or after 25th December. The Government of India also declared Dr B.R. Ambedkar the Father of Indian Constitution and a great social reformer birthday as India digital day which falls on 14th April. However, this year the Good Friday happens to fall on 14th April as the date of Good Friday keeps on changing every year. Honourable Prime Minister is against the cow vigilantes and Hon’ble Union Minister Smriti Irani reiterated that the BJP is against the cow vigilantes on 21st May 2017 at the Indian Today Editor round table event.

We also support the NBCC stand on its Diversity statement whereby the party also like to state again the Honourable Home Minister Speech at the meeting of the Christians Leaders organised by the India Christian Council on 14th October 2016 that Home Minister Rajnath Singh asserted that India is a secular country. Tolerance is essential for peaceful existence. People from all religions live peacefully in India and practise their religion without any fear of discrimination. That is why India is a university of tolerance. He reminded that India cannot forget the contribution of Christians to the nation from St. Thomas to Mother Theresa to eradicate the evils from society and assured that religious persecution will never be allowed and Christians will be protected.
