Nagabazar FC stuns New Market, Power Comm wins

Kohima, August 18 (EMN): Nagabazar FC came from behind to beat New Market FC 2-1 at the ongoing Kohima Football League on Friday at the Kohima local ground. With the win, Nagabazar FC temporarily moved to third position with six points from four matches and New Market FC in the fifth place with 5 points of the Kohima Football League table.
Chisie Nyusou opened the account for New Market in the 34th minute as his teammate Achamo latched a pass inside the D-Box area and he fired the ball into the empty net.
But Kezhose with his solo effort put back Nagabazar FC into the driver seat as he scored the much-needed goal in the 68th minute and assisted the second goal for Razoulhulie Rosario Sote to score in the 71st minute.
Kezhose who was playing his first match for Nagabazar hit the post in the first half but in the second half he managed to score from the goalkeeper Kevikelie’s error to tap-in the ball into the empty net.
With the loss, New Market has suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Nagabazar FC as the defenders failed to stop Kezhose from scoring.
Achamo Shitiri of New Market FC and Ketholetuo Dzeyie of Nagabazar FC were cautioned with a yellow card each.
Yhunshalo Kemp scored a hat-trick to become the first man to score a hat-trick in the Kohima Football League as Power Comm overcame Addax FC 3-1 in the second match. Power Comm FC ended their winless match to secure three important points. With the win, Power Comm temporarily moved to the 5th position of the league with 4 points from four games.
The second choice goalkeeper for Addax FC Kevichutuo Kire looked scrappy throughout the match after Addax goalkeeper Keneiphrezo Kire got injured in a collision in the 3rd game against Nagabazar FC and Power Comm managed to beat the opponent in style.
Yhunshalo Kemp of Power Comm FC opened the scoring in the 4th minute before completing his treble in the second half in the 60th 85th min respectively. All his goals were scored through headers.
Addax pulled back a goal with a bicycle kick from Imlongchaba in the 40th minutes but it was not enough for the team as Addax suffered a humiliating defeat against bottom placed Power Comm side.
Dzesengulie Dul of Power Comm FC and Mezhiisietuo Sekhose of Addax FC were cautioned with a yellow card each.
Kelhou Suohu, Proprietor of Touch Enterprise, Kohima was the match patron.
