Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): Naga Council Dimapur has acknowledged the expression of love, kindness and support shown during the public reception to honour Gen. (retired) Khole Konyak, vice chairman of NSCN (IM) jointly organised by Naga Hoho and Naga Council Dimapur on December 14.
The council general secretary, Thsapongkyu Sangtam has particularly thanked the civil society groups and organisations from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and
Nagaland.
The council has further sought all efforts and cooperation from all concerned for safe passage of the mortal remains of Gen. (retired) Khole Konyak, which will be taken to his home town Tobu where he will be finally laid to rest.
