Dimapur, Jan. 2: Two boxers from Nagaland won a silver and a bronze medal at the recently concluded 62 National School Games that was held in Gwalior from December 25 to 29.
Heikiesilie Guing won the silver in the 59 kg weight category and Linukjungla Imsong won bronze in 44 kg weight category.
A total of 6 girls and 9 boys from the IIndira Gandhi sports academy at Kohima , participated in the school nationals.
The team was led by boxing coach Tsungchetrenla Tzudir of department of youth resources and sports with Team Manager Gaurav Dewan Rai. The games had an overall participation of 25 teams from across the country.
