Dimapur, Sep 6 (EMN): The 2nd Cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation of Kohima College Kohima with NAAC peer team members Prof. S. N. Yadav, Former VC, APS University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh as Chairperson, Prof. T. Siddaiah, Former Registrar and Prof. dept. of Management Studies, Venkateswara University as Co-ordinator, and Dr. P. K. Debnath, Principal of Cooch Behar College, came to a close with the exit meeting on September 5.
The assessment process which ensued on September 4, consisted of interactive sessions with various departments, visit to facilities of the college, interactive session with students, community members, alumni and parents of the college and luncheon meeting with stakeholders of the college.
Advisor to Higher Education and Nagaland Bee Keeping and Honey Mission, Deo Nukhu; Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Rajesh Soundararajan; Director of Higher Education Kuholi Chisi; officials of dept. of Higher Education; Director CDC NU Lumam, Dr. Upathaya and a host of other officials from various departments attended the meeting.
A cultural progamme was also organised for the evening programme and day-one culminated with a dinner hosted by Deo Nukhu.
On the second day the team visited administrative and finance section of the institute, check documentary evidences and had an exit meeting.
Minister, Road and Bridges, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, who is also a son of one of the founding fathers of the college, hosted a dinner for the visiting team and faculty of the college at The Heritage, DC Bungalow.
