Kohima, March 24 (EMN): MRH Sunrises registered their first win in a goal-fest match by defeating Morning Football Club by a margin of 6-5 at the Morning Premier League, played here at D Khel ground, Kohima on Friday morning.
The second half saw 5 goals coming from Morning Football Club but it wasn’t enough to lift the team to victory.
MRH Sunrisers dominated the first half and the first goal was scored by Asat in the 9th minute and doubled his tally in the 43 minute of the game.
While Rithrong scored an own goal in the 48th minute and Sungkum scored a brace for MRH in the 49 and 71 minute. Chuba made it 6 goals in the 84th minute for MRH Sunrises.
For Morning FC, Bokato scored a brace in the 62 and 89th minute. Akavi added another in the 87 minute to made it 6-3. Dikwa scored two successive goals in the last minute to make it 5-2 but it was too late for the team.
