Imphal, Feb. 20: In the second day of the ongoing 57 Mountain Division Polo Tournament, Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC-B) defeated KRYPSA Naoremthong 8-5 goals at the historic Mapal Kangjeibung, the oldest polo ground in the world located in the heart of Imphal on Monday.In a move to support and promote the traditional game of polo, popularly known as ‘Sagol Kangjei’, which is a wonderful gift to the world by Manipur besides saving the endangered Manipuri ponies, the tournament is being held under the aegis of Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association with the support of 57 Mountain Division.
