Kohima, April 12 (EMN): Morung United FC defeated Amur Falcon FC 3-1 at the ongoing MPL season 3 here at the Kohima local ground on Wednesday morning.
The first half saw AFFC dominating the game and Akhum of Amur Falcon FC found the net in the 39th minute with an assist from Rokuo. However in the second half, Morung United levelled the scoreline through Lipok in the 47th minute. Lithung went on to score a brace in the 72 and 84 minute to end the match 3-1.During the match, Seyie of AFFC and Pirong of Morung were awarded yellow cards for foul play.
Morung’s victory lifted them above Falcons into fourth place of the Morning Premier League table.
