Kohima, April 4 (EMN): A second half goal from Lithung handed Morung United side to register their second win at the ongoing Morning Premier League played here at Kohima local ground on Monday morning.
Morung United got off to a perfect start when at two minutes Lithung latched onto a pass from Moakumzuk to score a goal. Then Wapang added another goal in the 22 minute through Zabhi for Morung United to lead the scoreline with 2-0 in the first half.
However, Sunrisers edged back through Chuba in the 80th minute of the second half, in the midst of the celebration, Lithung scored the much-needed goal within a minute for Morung United.
Even though Chuba scored another goal through Asat in the 84 minute, it was too late to save MRH Sunrisers team from the deficit goal.
The gruelling match ended 3-2 in favor of the Morung United. The match also witnessed three yellow cards from Morung United players. With the win, Morung has now seven points with two wins and a draw at the Morning Premier League.
