Morning star FC to revive its academies in Karbi Anglong district

Diphu, May 16 (EMN):
I n an effort to train up young players and compete in various higher level of football, the Karbi Anglong Morning Star Football Club (KAMSFC) will be reviving the football academies of the club around the Karbi Anglong district, this was informed by  KAMSFC coach  Horen Engti Kathar Diphu while interacting with this correspondent on Wednesday.

“The club managing core committee has decided to revive all the football academies of KAMSFC spread up in various centres of both Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong to give training to young immerging players and to have quality players to be fit to compete in various higher levels of competitions,” the coach said.

It has directed all coaches and managers of concerned academies to report to the coach by within May 20 of their academy status, player’s registration, enrolment and other information required. “If any of the academies failed to report within the stipulated time then that particular academy might fall under second phase”, he informed.

To get start the club activities from this month, the building for the club permanent office and hostel for players is in preparation. The whole surrounding of the club office has been cleaned and will be ready by a week time, Kathar informed.

The club has 15 academies viz. in Diphu, Dillai, Hanjanglangso, Khatkhati, Chowkihola, Dolamara, Bakulia, Den Arong, Ok-kereng, Tumpreng, Donkamukam, Hamren, Baithalangso, Borgaon and Ulukunchi.
