Mokokchung, June 27 (EMN): The youth wing of the BJP, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morch (BJYM) of Mokokchung district, has printed T-shirts. The T-shirts were released by L Temjen Jamir, former Member of Legislative Assembly and state executive member of the state’s BJP at the party’s office here today.
The party’s T-shirt was sponsored by Dr Temsuwati, state executive member of the state’s BJP.
Speaking at the programme marking the release, the chief guest of the event L Temjen Jamir asserted that BJP government had been emphasising on ‘bringing clean leaders’ since the time of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Till today the government has been able to ‘provide good governance to the people,’ he claimed.
Temjen Jamir stressed also on the Clean Election campaign being led by the Nagaland churches. The BJP leader stated that the dream of ‘clean election’ will be achieved only when people elect ‘clean leaders’ to be their representative.
The politician expressed optimism that after the implementation of the landmark GST bill next month, ‘India will attract more Foreign Direction Investment.’ He claimed that within three years of the National Democratic Alliance government trade had reached 110 billion US dollar.
