Mmhonlumo assures to fulfil public aspiration

Wokha, April 20 (EMN): Advisor of information and technology, science & technology and new & renewable energy, Mmhonlumo Kikon, has thanked the

People of the constituency for electing him for a second consecutive term from 40 Bhandari assembly constituency.

Speaking at the thanksgiving programme at Bhandari town on April 20, Mmhonlumo has called upon the public to have a positive approach irrespective of political affiliation towards bringing about development in the constituency. He has also assured to have close contact with every village leaders and other organisations in order to maintain transparency and accountability.

Highlighting on the border and oil exploration issues, he stated that ‘it is not new and cannot be solve in a day or two.’ He however assured the people to carry out his responsibility towards fulfilling their aspirations.

Short speeches were delivered by Elithung Odyuo, president of Lotha Lower Range Public Organisation (LLRPO); Dr. John Murry, treasurer NDPP; and Nzano Kikon, president BJP Wokha district Mahila. Bhandari town unit mahila presented a welcome song, while a special number was also presented by Renpi Kikon.

The programme was chaired by Ezanthung Mozhui, president of Bhandari Town unit BJP, and the welcome note was delivered by Meribemo Kinghen, president BJP Wokha district.
