Mokokchung, Jan. 18 (EMN): Mighty Ducks lifted the first Limatemjen Memorial Futsal Open Tournament by defeating Salunir FC 4-2 in the final match played at the multi-purpose sports complex at Mokokchung on Thu.
The winners pocketed a cash prize of INR 30,000 while the runner-up walked away with cash prize of INR 20,000. In the individual prize category, man-of-the-tournament was awarded to Wangshitemjen of Raven FC, highest scorer was awarded to Shiponglepba (14 goals) from Shooting Starz, and the best goalkeeper award went to Temsumongba from Soccer Club Mopungchuket.
The three-day tourney from Jan. 16 to 18th was organised by Shooting Starz Club. Twelve teams participated in the tournament organised in memory of Limatemjen passed away in 2015.
