Dimapur, May 22 (EMN): MGMHSS organised an orientation programme for newly admitted class 11 science students on May 22, with Er.Renji Thomas (B.Tech) as resource person.
Scientific aptitude, importance of science in the post modern age, why science education is important, how to study science systematically were topics covered among others.
In the first session principal of the school, Fr.P.S.Varghese summarised the students about the institution. He reminded the students to be disciplined, regular and systematic throughout the academic year. He advised the students to keep themselves away from bad habits, like eating of tobacco products and even chewing gum.
Meanwhile, principal also informed that there will be orientation programme for Class 11 Arts today from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., with Sandeep Jain, principal of Euro Kids International as resource person.
