Merit student receives Dr. HR Lotha Award

Wokha, June 24 (EMN): Wonchibemo Murry who secured the highest percentage among the students of Wokha village in the recently declared HSLC result on Sunday June 24, received the Dr. HR Lotha Award for academic excellence during the church service at Wokha Village Baptist Ekumkho (Church). The award carried a cash and a certificate.

The pastor of the church, Thungben Kikon said the Lt. Dr. HR Lotha Award for academic excellence which has been practicing for more than a decade in the village by the family members of Dr. Lotha was to honour young dedicate students.

It is also to encourage the students from the village to perform and produce good results, he added.
Wokha Village Baptist Ekumkho (Church), Wokha Village Government Employees Union, Wokha Village council and first MBBS and first class-1 gazetted officers from Wokha Village also felicitated Murry.
