Meet the tool room and their trainees

DIMAPUR, JUNE 14: The Nagaland Tool-Room & Training Centre of Dimapur during the beginning of the year has come up with 100% job-oriented trainings for the unemployed youths of the northeastern region.

This scheme is been sponsored by the Ministry of DoNER, Government of India. The 6 months training which commenced on January 2016 has altogether 200 youths who are undertaking the training under the sponsorship of the ministry. The training fees, food and lodging are also being sponsored by the ministry.

Out of the 200 students, 180 trainees are being placed in various companies and industries within and outside the state while the remaining few trainees are on the process, said the Principal NTTC, Er. Petehetuo Miasalhou.

He said the trainees includes students from Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur and Tripura as well. He highlighted that the recruitment process includes both campus interviews and electronic interview.

The centre also provides multiple job opportunities through various career development programmes.
