MAAM to organise Winter Festival starting Dec 10

The Mokokchung Art & Aesthetic Management (MAAM) is taking the initiative of organizing a Winter Festival from December 8 to 10, 2016 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
MAAM is an officially registered non-profit voluntary organization and has been involved in various activities in promoting Youth and Women in the society over the years. In accordance with its motto, the vision and inspiration MAAM has organized Miss Mokokchung for two consecutive years and has over the years supported various humanitarian causes. With the vision to help out the needy, MAAM launched a ‘Trust Fund for Cancer Patients’ in need of treatment at the IMDH.
It also had the privilege to work for the Cure Foundation Centre for differently able persons.
Keeping in mind the humanitarian objectives of the society MAAM plans to organize three day Winter Festival under the theme “Creating Opportunities” where different activities like Food stalls, Kids Carnival, Karaoke, Health awareness programme will be held. Stalls will be rented out to interested Self Help Groups and individuals.
To kick off of the three day winter festival celebration there will be an open Carnival Cos play,
Motor parade competition under the theme ‘Neverland’ where the participants can get creative and dress in different costumes, anime characters, fairy tales etc.
The carnival will start from IOC gas station to Imkongmeren Sports Complex on December 8, 2016. Winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
The main focus is to continue with the passion for philanthropic works and to create a new impact on promoting women and youth and involving in the growth process.
