MAAM to organise ‘Winder Melody’ in aid of cancer fund

Sensational singer Rosy Rensamgpuii from Mizoram, INCIPIT and Samaro will share the stage Welcoming the festive season in the town, the Mokokchung Arts & Aesthetics Management (MAAM) is organising a mega concert at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex on Tuesday night with northeast singing sensation, Rosy K Remsangpuii of Mizoram; Nagaland’s own rock band INCIPIT and the timeless Samaro band set to entertain the music lovers of the state. This was stated in a press note issued by the organisers. The concert titled ‘Winter Melody’ is said to literally herald the coming of the festive season in the town which is celebrated with much fanfare for the whole month. Mokokchung DC Sachin Jaiswal IAS is said to grace the concert as the chief guest. The releaser mentions that MAAM formed by some philanthropic likeminded citizens of the town had been hosting such events since the past few years. The MAAM is also said to have successfully hosted two editions of Miss Mokokchung Beauty pageant, a winter carnival and now this mega concert. Further the release mentions that MAAM started a fund for poor cancer patients admitted at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH); this Winter Melody is said to be organised towards the MAAM ‘Cancer Fund’ for the poor cancer patients at IMDH. Besides, the main concert, there will be food stalls with barbecues where grilled meat will be sold at the venue, added the release. Tickets priced at Rs 1000 (admit two) and Rs 200 (admit one) will also be available at the main gate of the venue. The show is said to be hosted by Arenla Lemtur. EMN
